Eton College, founded in 1440 by King Henry VI, is one of the oldest schools in the country. Its historic buildings are an integral part of the national heritage and it is with great pleasure that we invite visitors to experience and share the beauty and traditions of the College. We would ask visitors, however, to recognize the fact that this is a residential academic establishment and not primarily a tourist attraction, and to respect the privacy of those who live and work here.
