Etonians were recently treated to a special performance of Patrick McPherson’s sell-out Edinburgh Fringe one-man show.
The Man explores what it means to be a man in this day and age, veering seamlessly between poking fun at the perennial inability of men to express their feelings, to demonstrating the devastating effect this can have on self-esteem, relationships and a sense of belonging. Highlighting the current research around high suicide rates and depression amongst young men, it was a thought-provoking and hilarious antidote to a cold and damp Sunday evening.
We are very grateful to Patrick for sharing his story with us.
